Perfection achieved through preparation
The pre-press or "classic" engraving department is the preparatory stage for top quality offset printing. Pictures and text are scanned with a high degree of precision, the lay-out is done and improvements made if required. |
A colour proof is sent to the client who chooses either a digital or printed proof. After the client's approval has been received, the project is assembled in digital format according to the print screen outline. Only then the data is sent for film or plate exposure, or even directly to the printing press. |
