Antilope Printing awarded the environmental charter
Lier 2 June 2011 – On the 1st of June 2011, Antilope Printing was awarded the environmental charter for the province of Antwerp.
This graphic media group from Lier is constantly seeking to reduce the impact of its activities on the environment, thus contributing to- wards a sustainable world.
Antilope Printing is honoured that this work is being recognised.
Antilope Printing took part in the environmental charter for the first time this year. Following a successful initial audit, involving a comprehensive re- view of compliance with the statutory obligations in relation to the envi- ronment and environmental permits, Antilope was given the green light to spend one year working on its chosen action points. These included specific measures to reduce energy con- sumption and improve purchasing policy within the company. The measures were reviewed by an assessment team consisting of representatives from various employers’ organisations, companies and authorities. Antilope Printing successfully carried out no fewer than 6 action points.

About the environmental charter
The Antwerp environmental charter is an initiative by the Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the district of Kempen and Mechelen. Together they aim to encourage com- panies to take initiatives to protect the environment. Participating companies are not only required to comply with environmental legislation, but must also subscribe to the principles of the Environmental Charter and take initiatives in relation to at least three themes.
